Q: Why are Gloven° Oven Gloves better than any other oven glove or single mitt?
A: Well they have five fingers to enable dexterity. They are not so bulky to wear and are available as two gloves to fit each hand. They are thinner making it easier to grab very hot items from an oven. The pair of Glovens° withstands heat up to a normal oven of 250°.
Q: Why are they black?
A: We have seen a lot of Nomex gloves on the market that are cream and we thought it
would be more practical to have a glove that does not show the dirt so quickly. The main colour of the gloven is black but we have the great vibrant colour trims available in Hot Pink: Caribbean Sea Blue; Lime Punch; Scarlett Red and Granite Black.
Q: Is there just one size fits all?
A: No we have five sizes for the Gloven: teen, small, medium, large and extra large. 
Q: What is Nomex and why have you used it in your Gloven° Oven Gloves?
A: Nomex° is a flame-resistant, high-temperature fibre that won't melt or drip. The protection offered by Nomex° is permanent - it cannot be washed out or worn away.
Q: Can I wash my Gloven° Oven Gloves?
A: Gloven° has been independently tested and has no disintegrating layers when subject to high temperatures and rigorous testing. Washable up to 40°C° and can also be hand washed.
Q: What does BS6526 mean?
A: Gloven® oven gloves conforms to BS6526 which is a British Standard which specifies that the oven gloves are compliant and safe.
Q: I read in Women’s weekly that I can use my Glovens® for the freezer is this possible?
A: We have had a lot of people that have had problems with their hands getting extremely cold when searching in the freezer. Reynaud’s disease or anaemia or circulatory disorders, Gloven® is perfect for any of these problems to make sure your hands stay warm.

Q: Do you accept returns?
A: Yes we do as long as it is within 7 days of receipt of the goods and the packaging and the oven gloves have not been opened, used or damaged.
Q: Can I ship to an address that my details are not registered to?
A: Yes you can, for gift purchases to friends or relatives in other countries we offer all our customers multiple shipping addresses. Note: Please check that the destination addresses in our current serviced countries.

Q: I have burnt myself with my oven gloves on, are they not working anymore?
A: Yes they still work and they will continue to work for many years, the reason for the burn is the clog up of grease and dirt or erosion of the material affecting the thermal properties. Place them in a wash at 40° and ensure there is no damaged areas of the material or that they are not damp when used.
